The history of Kashmir is replete with the golden chapters of glorious culture and civilization. It has remained an independent religious state from 259BC to 1947AD i,e for more than two thousand years Kashmir emerged as an independent state on the political map of the world--from 1326 to 1586 Kashmir has remained as an Islamic state and then from 1586 to 1947 and 1947 to 2014 it went through a wide range of political ups and downs.
But over the years, I perceive that under a deep rooted conspiracy, a black and deplorable chapter of our history is being jotted down---that is a cultural onslaught going on in Kashmir. I strongly believe that this conspiracy of blotting out our culture and identity will prove more inimical than the terror and oppression let loose by the mughal ,afgan,sikh and dogra rulers.
This is such a weapon which will affect our next generations to lose their identity.
An era has passed when scholars across the world would visit Kashmir for rectification of their literary works and to gain more knowledge. But very unfortunately, this Kashmir has now became an asylum for different heinous crimes and moral turpitude. To commit crimes like female feticide, business of fake drugs etc, people from india and across find Kashmir the most suitable and safer place.
So it is the moral duty of all Muslim and non-Muslim scholars to come forward and wage a full-fledged war to safe guard our society so as with the removal of cultural degradation economical upliftment can be maintained.
However, culture weighs heavier than economy and cultural poverty is the worst. The supreme leader Hazrat Imam Ali khamnaie said in a recent statement that:" culture is valuable than economy because Culture is like the air that we breathe. You have to breathe air, whether you like it or not. If this air is clean, it will have certain effects on your body. If it is dirty, it will have certain other effects. The culture of a country is like the air that we breathe." so we all have to deliver to the best of our capacity to put an end to the ongoing cultural and moral degradation in Kashmir.
Through a civilized manner India has to be made answerable. And the real agents of exploitation whether it is India or local administration have to be brought to be lime light.
In this context I appeal to all the voters to vote in my manifesto so as a movement to counter the ongoing cultural aggression can be launched and a stage can be set for religious personalities to contribute their bit towards the mission.
